Eco-designer Max McMurdo sold his house and used the £50,000 profit to build a floating home in a 40ft shipping container. His journey is featured in new series Amazing Spaces: Floating Homes on Channel 4.

Creative building projects was put forward for this project by an associate of the client Max McMurdo who is a very creative and interesting individual himself (you can find his up cycling work on the internet) the initial concept of the project was already agreed and mainly designed by the client Max, however we designed some of the technical operational elements of the features in the project. we mainly did the feature recycled pallet wood 3D wall with hidden integrated storage and also the trap doors to the washing shoot.
We provided 2 joiners to carry the works out over a long 3-day period. The joiners who participated were the director of the company (Chris Burley) and a foreman for the company (Joe Burley). The project for us was a show case to express what our company is about. Creativity, thinking outside the box on the spot, passion and love for construction can do attitude that anything is possible, delivering the project on time considering the unknown elements. We are very proud for our work to have been aired on national television and complemented by the presenter George Clark and client Max McMurdo, above all that we were hand-picked to carry this project out and been able to deliver the bespoke visions and desires of the client.
